David McKown, Ranch Manager
David lives on the ranch with his family
and has been here for ~20 years.
He manages all on-site ranch operations including the cattle, goats, hunting and tourism. David is an expert on range management and native plant
identification |

Dr. Wayne Hanselka,
Associate Department Head,
Rangeland Ecology
Dr. Hanselka heads all ranch programs
and directs research, education and demonstration programs at
La Copita.
He enjoys leading tours when time
permits
and is a specialist in local plant identification, uses, and names in both Spanish and English. |
