An air conditioned bunkhouse can host up to 16 people is equipped with a kitchen and showers, TV and telephone.  A BBQ pit is always available for evening cook-outs.  Reservations for the guest house require a deposit.  For more information, call 361-664-1093 during regular office hours.

The laboratory has map resources, refrigerators, a photocopier, computers, drying ovens, a hood and bench tops which may be adapted for sample analysis and processing. Several rooms are available for short-term sample storage.

A solar powered weather station is equipped with sensors to measure air temperature, RH, wind speed and direction, soil temperature, precipitation, and solar radiation.
